Current Food Quests - 03/05/2006

1) Banh xeo - a rice flour based Vietnamese crepe with shrimp, sprouts, pork, lots of greens and herbs...
2) Banh mi - Vietnamese sandwiches usually based off a French baguette or similar rolls
3) SF Mission-style burritos
4) Swedish Princess Cake
5) Banh cuon - thin fresh rice flour rolls filled with stir-fried pork, wood-ear fungus, pepper, and some other goodies served with fried shallots, fresh bean sprouts, cucumbers, and nuoc cham (a bit like Chinese cherng fun but with a more delicate wrapper)
6) Tacos - small corn tortillas, meat, onions, cilantro, +/-salsa
